I am a geographer by trade, actually I am a Geographics Information Systems (GIS) Analyst that just so happens to also develop GIS applications. I have not had any formal schooling in programming beyond a Visual Basic 6 course and an intro course that had us build a couple of simple command line c++ apps.
My main focus is developing in Flex using the ESRI Flex API. To get the job done of integrating the ESRI Flex API with other datasets, I also had to learn some C# and Python.
My goal is to become a better rounded developer and to contribute to the world of Mapping applications.
